Ivy Meissner is a gardener and artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. During her time working in New York City, she has taken on a variety of roles in the horticultural world. In her experience an interior plant specialist, a landscaping crew foreman, a nursery salesperson, and a designer of urban gardens, Ivy has grown to merge her artistic sensibilities with her love of horticulture.

Inspired by the diversity of flora in Northern California and by the work of her parents—both horticulturists—Ivy’s aim is to get people excited about gardening by creating a personal relationship with the natural world in an urban environment.
